Keep It Clean
You are not required to perform any special maintenance and calibration activities for your Everion. Regularly clean your Everion device and armband — especially to remove lotions and oils (such as sunscreen, insect repellent, and moisturizers) or debris that can be trapped on your Everion device and the armband after working out or sweating.
- Everion Device
You can clean your device with standard (hospital) disinfectant cleaning materials or a small amount of rubbing alcohol (Alternatively you can also use a damp cloth and clean water). Moisten a clean cotton swab with the disinfectant or rubbing alcohol (do not soak the swab) and gently wipe down the Everion device (Do NOT use hand soap, body soap, dish soap, hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes or household cleaners, which could get trapped beneath the device and the armband and irritate the skin). - Armband
The armband is suitable for washing with delicate detergents up to 40°C degrees. Alternatively, you can hand wash the band in cold water with mild soap, making sure to rinse thoroughly. The armband consists of a fast-drying material and even dries quickly when attached to your upper arm. Nevertheless, we recommend to let the band air dry well before putting it back on. Be aware, that direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humid conditions can cause discoloration or damage over time.
Keep It Dry
- While your Everion device is water resistant, it’s not good for your skin to wear a wet armband and a device with fluid trapped beneath it for long periods of time.
- To avoid skin irritation it’s important - before putting it back on - to thoroughly dry your device and remove any debris from it if your device gets wet, like after sweating or showering.
- Please also make sure that your skin is dry before you put the device back on.
