The latest firmware 3 brings the battery level up to 46 hours. The battery life depends on the firmware version and usage (e.g. change of mode). Note that when you change any of the Everion mode, it will trigger the following actions:
1. Erase stored data in the device
2. Disconnect the Everion
3. Restart the Everion

“Battery life” is the amount of time your Everion device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time your battery lasts until it is not working anymore and needs to be replaced. Maximize both and you’ll get the most out of your Everion device.
1. Always update to the latest software
Everion Firmware Updates include regularly improving battery run time and parameters. Please make sure your device is being updated to the latest firmware version. See here How to update the Firmware of your Everion.
2. Avoid extreme ambient (room) temperatures
The Everion device is designed to perform well in a wide range of ambient temperature, with 5° to 35° C (41° to 95° F) as the ideal comfort zone. Exposing, charging or storing the Everion device in high ambient temperatures (above 35° C /95° F) can damage the battery irreversibly. When using or storing the Everion device in a very cold environment, you may notice a decrease in battery life (this condition is temporary, once the battery’s temperature returns to its normal operating range, its performance will return to normal).

3. Remove certain cases during charging
Remove at least one fastener when charging your Everion device as it may generate excess heat which can affect battery capacity. If you notice that your device gets hot when you charge it, take it off the charger and make sure the Everion is correctly placed on the charger.
4. Store the Everion device half-charged when you plan to store it for a longer time
Two key factors will affect the battery lifespan of your Everion: the environmental temperature and the percentage of charge on the battery when it’s turned off for storage. We recommend the following:
- Keep the battery charged at 50% before turn it off for storage. When you store a full discharge device, the battery could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it incapable of holding a charge. Conversely, if you store it fully charged for an extended period of time, the battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.
- Turn off the device to avoid additional battery use.
- Place your device in a cool, moisture-free / dry environment that’s less than 32° C (90° F).
- If you plan to store your device for longer than six months, charge it to 50% every six months.
- Protect it from direct sunlight and other heat sources.
Depending on how long you store your device, it may be in a low-battery state when you remove it from long-term storage. After it’s removed from storage, it may require 20 minutes of charging with the Everion charger.
